New York, NY — The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is pleased to announce the 2025 Awardees and Finalists for the SCC Madam C.J. Walker Scholarship, generously sponsored by Mary Kay.
The Scholarship Selection Committee has chosen the following awardees, each receiving a $5,000 scholarship:
Awardees and finalists also receive a financial support package to attend the SCC’s 79th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase in New York (Dec. 16-17, 2025), where they will be recognized on-stage during the Annual Awards Breakfast and have the opportunity to present their research during the conference via poster in the Showcase.
“The selection committee reviewed the achievements of more than 40 applicants for the scholarship program this year,” said Erica L. O’Grady, CAE, Chief Executive Officer of the Society. “These honorees demonstrated impressive accomplishments and embodiment of the spirit and legacy of Madam C.J. Walker. We are pleased to not only recognize these young scientists, but to support their educational goals and future contributions to the industry.”
