CYS BERRY®
Urinary tract infections are a common problem among women. In France, 1 in 2 women will suffer at least one episode of cystitis in her lifetime. Recurrent cystitis (more than 4 episodes in 12 months) places a heavy burden on the quality of life of sufferers. CYS BERRY® differentiates itself by using the whole cranberry berry (peel, seeds, pulp). This allows to benefit not only from the 36 mg proanthocyanidins but also from other cranberry compounds. This richer raw material proved its worth in a clinical study of 176 women.
Laboratoire PYC has also taken care to develop a pleasant-to-consume formula with natural raspberry-cranberry flavour to make it easier to repeat 3-month supplementations. In a recent consumer study (Expansion Consulteam, 2022), cranberry is the 1st ingredient spontaneously cited by women to help in urinary tract infections.
FERTILITY®
On average, 80% of women who try to have a child succeed within six months. This percentage decreases with the age of the woman and depends on women’s health concerns. All women can use food supplements to prepare for this special time. FERTIWELL® contains essential nutrients for women and the early stages of the embryo, and to support fertility. The orodispersible format of FERTIWELL® is innovative and particularly convenient for this key period. In particular, FERTIWELL® contains myo-inositol. Myo-inositol is a mediator involved in a number of physiological functions, including the regulation of menstrual cycles.
Laboratoire PYC has based this formula on recent clinical studies. FERTIWELL® provides the highest dose required by the authorities in vitamin B9 (400μg). Vitamin B9 helps to ensure the proper closure of the fetal neural tube. This is why it is so important to ensure a sufficient supply before and during the first few weeks of pregnancy.
