This page explains your statutory right to cancel (withdraw from) certain contracts with us, how you can exercise that right and what happens if you do.

1) Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer (natural person acting for purposes which are outside your commercial or independent professional activity), you have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded with us within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen (14) days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, take(s) physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal you must inform us (Inter-Euro Medien GmbH, Eisenacher Str. 10, D-80804 München, Tel.: +49 89 36037427, e-mail: [email protected] of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2) Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged fees for such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen (14) days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (i.e., you may test the goods as you would in a shop; any excessive use beyond that may lead to a deduction from the refund).

3) Exclusions / Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to, inter alia, the following contracts (this list is non-exhaustive and follows EU consumer rules):

• Contracts for the supply of newspapers, magazines or illustrated periodicals except subscription contracts.
• Contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (for example PDF downloads, streamed or downloadable digital files, license keys, links to digital content) where you have expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
• Contracts for the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
• Contracts for goods that were unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.
• Contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
• Contracts for the supply of sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery.

If you intend to buy digital downloads (PDFs, links, software, etc.), please note that we will inform you before the purchase if you will lose your right of withdrawal by consenting to immediate provision of the digital content.
