Sabinsa presented natural cosmeceutical ingredients for skin and hair at NYSCC Suppliers’ Day

Sabinsa, the multi-national health science company founded by the late Dr. Muhammed Majeed 36 years ago, introduced a new product at the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day in May 2024. Dr. Anurag Pande, Sabinsa’s VP of Scientific Affairs, gave a presentation designed to guide those brands seeking to add natural, sustainable ingredients to their formulas.

Sabinsa’s newest skin care product is Babchiol (Bakuchiol 99%) a natural active extracted from the plant Psoralea corylifolia. This retinol-alternative offers the same anti-aging benefits as retinoids but is much gentler and without the risk of adverse effects.

Other naturally-derived products presented by Sabinsa included Proscalpin, a patented, clinically studied blend for healthy haircare, as well as natural skin care actives for UV protection and melanogenesis inhibition pTeroWhite® and SabiWhite®. These ingredients are backed by Sabinsa’s long history of clinical research and IP support. Sabinsa’s well-established commitment to sustainability and fair trade will appeal to today’s consumers, who want to know that brands whose products they use are part of the solution.
