The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is pleased to announce the organization’s 2026 Board of Directors. They are the governing body focused on the mission, strategy, and goals of the Society, and are responsible for representing the interests of more than 5,000 individual cosmetics and personal care industry members globally.
“I am extremely honored to serve as SCC President in 2026,” says Marisa Plescia. “My fellow Board members and I are committed to increased engagement and education opportunities for our members, expanding our community, and creating a strong future for the SCC.”

These elected leaders are joined by Immediate Past President Akshay Talati, RPh (Supergoop!) and IFSCC Representative Peter Tsolis (The Estée Lauder Companies), both of whom serve on the Board in an ex officio capacity.

O’Grady, CAE, SCC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Their industry knowledge, diverse perspectives, and commitment to our members will be an asset to those they represent in charting the course for the organization’s future,” she added.
