BASF Personal Care is introducing Emulgade® Verde PE to Asia Pacific for the first time at in-cosmetics Korea 2026, taking place July 1–3 in Seoul. The ingredient brings a new approach to hydrophilic active delivery, using advanced niosome technology to improve active efficacy in skin, hair and body care formulations without adding process complexity.

Emulgade® Verde PE is a ready-to-use, drop-in solution that enables the formation of niosome vesicles — carrier structures that facilitate the transport of hydrophilic actives across the skin barrier. Unlike traditional delivery systems requiring significant process adjustments, Emulgade® Verde PE integrates seamlessly into a wide range of formulations. Independent testing has confirmed that formulations containing Emulgade® Verde PE enhance the penetration of hydrophilic actives into the skin, supporting greater active efficacy without compromising formulation simplicity. The launch builds on BASF Personal Care‘s track record in innovation, following recent launches in collagen science at in-cosmetics Global 2026.

Beyond delivery efficiency, Emulgade® Verde PE offers a mild profile suited to sensitive skin, broadening its applicability across facial, body and hair care formats. Technical Seminar at in-cosmetics Korea 2026
On July 2, 2026, BASF Personal Care Expert YoonJung (Rita) Mok, Skincare Regional Marketing Manager APAC, will deliver a technical seminar on how Emulgade® Verde PE simplifies hydrophilic active delivery — demonstrating how formulators can achieve higher efficacy with less complexity through niosome technology.
